the first part (of 3) of the book, pretty much, yes. haven't read sachs but he cites him. 1st part is case studies and so on. but the rest of the the book is so much greater in scope and ambition. in fact, i resumed my read only yesterday and wrote a note saying "The Matter with Things is, hands down, the most complete thing I’ve ever read", to communicate just how impressed i am
