Interesting that all the decent memes seem to be on the right - that you rarely see any witty ones on the left. Compare this to the New Left movement of the 60s and 70s - where most of the humour was there. The left have lost their sense of wit and humour which makes them very thin skinned and easy to offend.

Yes. that "the Left can't meme" might be indeed a temporary phenomenon, perhaps a function of them being the establishment and the Right the underdog this time around. The Left is in the position that it needs to maintain and perpetuate "the lie" on which the current system is build ("march through the institutions"). It is the incumbent while the Right is in the position of the disruptor. Seems to be somewhat good for art creation, pressure being a creative force. Stumbled across this note here https://substack.com/@newrightpoast/note/c-63910080 and thought that was interesting in this context.
